Telecommunications- Services 5G Client Executive supporting Verizon Locations: Preferred Texas, New Jersey, New York, Boston or Tampa, this is a remote from home role, eventually after Pandemic will require travel up to 50% SUMMARY: As the Communications business continues to transform as a result of the 5G transition, we see a significant effect to several key verticals in which 5G and related communications technologies such as Edge Computing to enable the next wave of digital transformation for CSPs and enterprises. This market trend and business need across industries is now providing growth to the telecommunications sector in the form of enterprise private networks. These networks are used to create modern use cases for manufacturing automation, improved logistics, advanced automobiles, cognitive supply chain systems across many verticals and other use cases that introduce new consumer products, business to business workflows and OPEX savings to our clients. The 5G Communications Services Client Executive role fills a key sales role within the Capgemini-Engineering GBL by driving new logo, complex multi-tier and existing client solution sales in partnership with our market units and other business lines. Whether part of a standalone client need or a complex digital transformation solution, the Client Executive can drive complex solution sales from consultative phase to operational and maintenance phase. The Client Executive will work with business analysts, solution architects, other Client Sales leads to create new opportunities for existing clients within our market units and leverage client needs to establish incremental and new communications services sales and engage our network equipment providers, ISVs, web scale and other clients as partners in the end to end ecosystems. This new initiative for Capgemini-Engineering, of selling Communications based services and solutions to CSPs and enterprises will have booking and revenue targets on a yearly basis. It will require a thought leader that has detailed understanding of engineering skills required to design and deploy modern LTE or 5G based private or enterprise networks for the intelligent industry. The candidate should have experience in working with engineering leadership teams to define the specific talent that is required for this business. Role and Responsibilities · Establish targeted revenue, bookings, and profitability goals. Execute on plan. Building and managing Qualified Sales pipeline consistent with account strategy Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports Define engineering skills and requirements for this new business Drive offering development with pre-sales and solution architecture teams Work with business development teams to target clients and logos Work with Capgemini market unit and business units to connect with existing clients that have private networking needs or have initiatives that will lead to private networking sales Provide thought leadership on current industry needs and drive the development on new offerings and higher value services across industries for Communications Business Work with Industry leadership team to incorporate enterprise network business requirements and growth plans into the overall Industry plans Engage with clients across multiple industries to drive for sales closure while ensuring we are solving the client’s problem and maximizing the value of Capgemini Communications services into the opportunity. Lead Generation, Qualifying, Negotiating and Closing opportunities for client with the objective of driving profitable growth Researching, mapping, establishing, developing and maintaining strong relationships with prospects and client team members Structuring and shaping deals for Value, leveraging and providing input on offerings, services, capabilities Listening to the client and working jointly to identify the client’s biggest engineering challenges, preferences and purchasing triggers Create long term client relationship and become a true consultative partner to our clients as the execute their transformation. Qualifications and Education Requirements BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering 10-15 years’ experience in Telecommunications Product Management and/or Sales Deep knowledge of the Telecommunications Industry Working knowledge of advanced digital transformation initiatives across key verticals including intelligent industry Ability to drive sales to closure across technical and C suite individuals Preferred Skills Understanding of Verizon and its organization, previous sales experience with referenceable clients Experience in building and executing business plans and business cases Working knowledge of 5G telecommunications solutions including Access, Core and Edge based networks and applications as well as operations systems · Working knowledge of modern enterprise architecture and related applications · Experience with selling directly to, selling with and selling through Verizon · Experience with JGTM and working with VBG · Won and led deals of $5-10million independently · Track record of deep, consultative, trust-based relationships and strong knowledge, understanding of client’s business with strong client references of 6 years · Proven ability to build senior-level client relationships Leadership Behaviors · Hunter Mentality · Highly tenacious approach to prospecting and closing · Demonstrate trust and respect · Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communications skills · Creative thinking and analytical problem solving · Relentlessly focused on delivering client value · Collaborate across all levels · Execute with urgency while holding self and others accountable for results ADDITIONAL NOTES This is a technical sales role with focus on enabling a consultative based sale to a variety of verticals. The candidate should be comfortable working at the executive level while also being able to drive technical solutions with a cross functional team. The candidate must have a vision of the Communications Industry and how Communications based solutions will enable modernization and new product deployment in concert with advance analytics, AI, Cloud Based architectures and modern enterprise applications.
