We're seeking a Senior Science Sales Consultant to join our Sales and Success team. This newly created position will report to the Vice-President of Strategic Alliances. As Senior Science Sales Consultant, you will be a crucial leader on BrainPOP's new middle school science team. You will work closely with school districts and science educators to bring a state of the art science program into classrooms throughout the world. In this role you will, work strategically with BrainPOP sales leaders to: Employ consultative and solutions oriented sales strategies to prospect and build science opportunity pipeline Identify, manage, and support district opportunities for BrainPOP science pilots Provide compelling BrainPOP science presentations and product demos Coordinate sales, support, and professional learning teams to bring pilots to success. Develop deep knowledge of BrainPOP Science and our other offerings, as a prerequisite for providing world-class support and service to educators. Bring strong understanding and expertise of national Science standards and pedagogy trends to elevate your ability to listen to customer needs, and strategically pair BrainPOP Science to address them. Partner with educators and admins to illustrate how BrainPOP Science addresses new science standards that shift approaches to teaching and learning Communicate consistently with district and school leaders to ensure the ongoing use of BrainPOP Science, gather feedback, share new features, and address challenges. Monitor and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, while managing partner expectations. Confidently communicate and work collaboratively with other internal BrainPOP teams, sharing innovative solutions for customer issues, and communicating observations/ feedback from partners to help inform future product development efforts. You Are Passionate about science education A self-starter with great instincts and the ability to discern upcoming needs A team player with the time management and organizational skills to also work independently A strong problem-solver with analytical skills to help districts overcome barriers and maximize the use of BrainPOP Science. An outstanding verbal and written communicator with audiences of all levels. A strong listener with questioning skills to gain a strategic understanding of customer needs and challenges. An adaptable self-starter who is skilled at creating structure in ambiguous environments. Deeply knowledgeable of 3 dimensional Science teaching and the NGSS. On Your Resume Experienced science educator and/or science ed tech sales experience Deep understanding of NGSS and science education trends Position does include some travel Experience leading teacher training/professional development.
