In March 2020, our team quickly transitioned to working remotely due to COVID-19. Our way of work has always been structured to be able to operate anywhere, so our transition was pretty smooth, though we’re always learning and finding ways to improve. Since then, our sales team has begun to work from our large office, following all recommended safety protocols. We gather for "team time" via Zoom each week to review company milestones, recognize team accomplishments and shamelessly share our blunders. Sometimes we take screenshots. That's fun. Job Description NOW HIRING 2021 FALL INTERNS We've had the pleasure of working with dozens of fantastic interns over the years, and we've worked hard to develop our internships so that individuals truly learn new skills and come away with valuable experience to add to their resumes. Our Inside Sales Interns provide support to our full-time sales team to acquire new clients for Social High Rise. Interns are trained to understand social media philosophy, as it relates to restaurants and small businesses. Interns also go through rigorous sales training to learn to qualify leads, overcome objections, close, and build and maintain a strong sales pipeline over the phone and through email. This is a great internship for individuals interested in learning more about the social media industry, social media marketing, inside sales, and start-up company culture. Internship Responsibilities Include Partnering with the Social High Rise sales team at our Chico Headquarters office a minimum of 12 hours per week on a consistent, pre-determined schedule (typically 3 days per week for 4-hour shifts) - punctuality and dedication are extremely important. WEDNESDAY MORNING AVAILABILITY STRONGLY PREFERRED WORK ETHIC Averaging 20-30 calls per hour Following a written script to assist you in having successful prospecting calls Sending appointment reminder emails to qualified leads Sending email campaigns to nurture leads Learn and practice how to quickly overcome objections, closing techniques, and persuasive sales psychology Bringing an attitude of hustle every day Rigorously tracking sales activity Analyzing personal performance to find ways to improve Shadowing the Social High Rise team to learn sales and business-related skills that can be applied to future career opportunities.
