Position Overview This role will manage and harness the data used across our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. The Sales Operations Analyst will unlock growth opportunities, deliver ongoing analysis to guide funnel optimizations, increase sales efficiency, and bring transparency to the performance of our enterprise business. The Sales and Operations Analyst will also support Sales and Operations function, and team, within HCL’s Software Business across North America. This position is critical in helping the sales organization maintain a high rate of growth and success. We’re seeking a sharp, highly-driven individual with a knowledge and experience of sales enablement, sales performance metrics, and have CRM experience. Strong business acumen and process orientation are key for this role. This role will be responsible for working with multiple (global) stakeholders across the organization to develop, manage, optimize and ensure compliance with processes related to sales and sales team management. Position Scope Reporting & Analytics : Own end-to-end process of tracking operational metrics and delivering meaningful insights to the business, define and deliver techniques to improve the pipeline performance for sales management. Produce actionable sales reporting from business intelligence tools. Provide custom reporting and dashboards. Sales Enablement: Develop sales enablement training and documentation to ensure sales methodology is incorporated into BAU Create and maintain documentation of sales processes, policies, and relevant sales training materials and assist with on-boarding new sales talent. Enforce and support sales team responsibilities and rules of engagement Drive the adoption of sales tools (e.g. Allego, LMS, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn) and sales processes with global and brand sales leaders and team members CRM: Drive and support Dynamics CRM development and project initiatives, working with the development team on process and functional improvements released monthly. Work closely with sales leadership to drive adoption of CRM, reporting requirements and Own KPI reporting and dashboards for the sales team, sales executives, as well as company-wide leadership and executive team You Have: Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, economics, mathematics, or statistics. MBA a plus. 5-8 years of experience with relevant business systems; CRM (Sales and Support), BI/Analytics, LMS, Sales Methodologies, Digital asset management, etc. Prior experience in the software industry a huge advantage. Business sales operations knowledge is critical. Ability to understand and think through critical business requirements and develop and implement new processes and ways of working. Execution and follow-through is key. understanding of, experience with, and background in MS Dynamics or similar customer relationship management (CRM) tools Ability to analyze data, synthesize results, extract insight, develop recommendations, and present findings to senior management Ability to make business decisions and define strategies to support internal requirements. Strategic and innovative thinker; Advanced experience with spreadsheets, including knowledge of pivot tables, formulas, macros, etc. Enthusiasm, detail-oriented, result-oriented, and team-focused skills Demonstrated solid customer service and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment Ability to take ownership and consistently deliver on commitments – organized with attention to detail Ability to work with teams cross-functionally and develop strong relationships at all levels of the business Strong business acumen and project/program management skills Strong presentation and communication skills Product knowledge in selected software products – either from sales/services or engineering/development perspective a huge plus.
