Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative – Preventative Maintenance Support to join our team. This position is based at our Raleigh, NC location. Position Overview The Customer Support Representative is responsible for managing the “Preventative Maintenance” backlog, supporting Eaton’s Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) business. This position will require continuous interface with Customers, Sales Team Members, Service Area Managers and Customer Support Engineers to ensure a positive customer experience. In This Function You Will Manage the Preventative Maintenance (PM) backlog by interfacing with Customers and Customer Support Engineers to schedule PM tickets. Maintain and update the scheduling board to ensure clear snapshot of daily work activity. Manage the Preventative Maintenance list and ensure critical customer information in Oracle is accurate and current: contracts generating Battery PM tickets on Non-Battery Serial , correcting serial numbers, and address updates. Resolve unresponsive customers to ensure ticket closings. Communicate with internal key contacts on the scheduling of preventative maintenance tickets. Work directly with Service Area Managers and Inside Sales to create tickets when required. Support organization to meet customer’s contractual obligations for service. Provide 1-800 line coverage and weekend phone coverage as required on a rotational basis. Required (Basic) Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required. Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a customer-facing role is required. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Raleigh, NC will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications Proficient with computer and software tools - including Excel, advanced database knowledge (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle Service, OBIEE) and other PQD related software programs. Previous experience in call center, and/or customer interfacing work environment.
