As a Informatics Solutions Consultant - Data Visualization and Analytics you will be responsible for critical aspects of enterprise software sales cycles. Leveraging your data visualization and analytics skills and experience, you will partner with our clients and prospective clients in understanding the value of our software. You will also be responsible for delivering Spotfire education courses to maximize the value our clients get from their investment in Spotfire. Key responsibilities: Develop and deliver customer-facing presentations about data visualization and analytics best practices in Spotfire Lead and execute data visualization and analytics technical sales during the entire sales cycle, from the beginning through the achievement of our customers' goals, including: Discovery Presentations Demonstrations Workshops proof-of-concepts Meet with all technical stakeholders to discover their relevant needs. Prove that PerkinElmer Informatics can meet those needs in complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Professional Services, and other members of the Field Application Scientist team to provide a frictionless customer experience through the technical sales process. Delivery (not development) of Spotfire education courses. Courses will be developed by our training team. Some business travel required Preference is for those that live in the east coast but open to anywhere in the U.S. Basic Qualifications: B.S. degree in a scientific or technical subject 3 years' experience using data visualization and analytics software. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Spotfire is preferred Previous sales engineering experience preferred Experience in pharmaceutical or other R&D preferred Programming and/or scripting experience in Python or other programming language
