Purpose and Scope: A Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and documenting code for Nexcelom’s software application. This role requires experience in full-stack software development lifecycle . This position will support product development and sustaining engineering development. The engineer must have a strong track record of creative and innovative problem solving in cross-functional environments as well as a desire to grow by working on a fast-paced, highly-collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Nexcelom is looking for an individual to be versatile, self-motivated, independent, and experienced. Responsibilities : Lead design, development and testing of complex product features and services Assist in the architecture of project structure and deployment strategy to deliver robust, maintainable solutions Analyze and implement business requirements Provide time and effort estimates as it relates to engineering efforts Implement measurable technical standards to ensure long-term success Adapt at understanding and applying latest technologies and design patterns Evaluate and perform design trade-offs regarding the architecture of software components Ability to implement unit testing and automated testing frameworks for new and existing features Ability to work in an Agile/iterative development and design process Follows established development practices and guidelines Mentor other engineers in software development best practices Basic Qualifications : Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree 5 year’s experience in software engineering field C# / .NET Git Preferred Qualifications : Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree 8 years’ software development or programming experience WPF / MVVM C++ SQL WPF / MVVM Entity Framework Prism Experience with Azure DevOps Ability to work in a cross functional team Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills Strong project management skills Nexcelom is an Equal Opportunity employer and does not discriminate against an applicant or employee because of race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, or veteran status.
