IT Desktop Support Specialist: Job Title: ITCS ENABLEMENT SPECIALIST Function: This role is a frontline position working directly with employee clients via phone, email, and in-person to address IT challenges and deliver new solutions. Work within this position consists of projects and tasks. Essential Functions: ? Standard day shift, On premise work location ? Support of end-user hardware, software, peripherals, network devices, VPN (Windows and Macintosh) ? Local office, remote office and home office support via telephone, email, chat, WebEx or in person. ? Track and resolve user issues in a timely fashion and escalate where necessary ? Build and deploy new computers in support of new hire and tech refresh processes ? Mobile device support ? Troubleshoot printing and scanning problems ? Proactively identify solutions to improve end-user experiences and departments service catalog ? Identify new technologies that can improve IT operations and/or end-user effectiveness ? Enforce security protocols and remediate malware/virus concerns when necessary ? Participate in special technology projects ? Other IT duties as assigned Required Qualifications: ? 3 years – IT helpdesk experience ? Associates degree in computer science or related field or comparable experience ? Experienced in technical help desk and technical customer service, including troubleshooting of the Microsoft/Macintosh equipment and cloud-based applications ? Experienced providing support to non-technical people in person and remotely Physical Requirements: ? Able to lift computer hardware, ranging from 0 - 50lbs Location: Westford, MA
