We currently have an immediate need for the following: Job Title: Senior Workday Analyst Client: Pharmaceutical, TBA Business Unit: Corporate-Information Technology (HQIT) Location: Lake County, Illinois Initial Contract Length: 6 months with possible extension Pay Rate: $43- $48 per hr. plus health, dental, vision insurance, 401k contributions and PTO Resume Keywords(Resumes to be considered should contain some or all of the following keywords): Workday, Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Talent and Performance Management, User Acceptance Testing(UAT), Report Writer, HR Business Processes, EIBs, Advanced Excel skills We are looking for a versatile professional to join the team as a contractor on the HR team as a Senior Analyst, Workday Solutions. The role will partner closely with other team members and business leaders within the organization to complete advanced troubleshooting requests, process-related and reporting-related change requests, perform scheduled activities and other ad-hoc project support. Responsibilities : Provide Workday support to the HR teams globally, including provisioning of user-based security requests, advanced trouble-shooting, and case management handling Provide support for multiple Workday modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Talent and Performance Management Troubleshoot or develop Workday reports of low to medium complexity Perform data analysis and troubleshooting Support documentation enhancements and updates, including preparation and regular review of materials to support our global service centers Provide business analysis and user acceptance testing Use your in-depth Workday experience to provide support to customers Ensure proper security and privacy controls are captured in all functional requirements specifications documents Support activities related to combination of recently acquired company and their legacy Workday tenant into existing Workday tenant Requirements : Minimum of 3 years of Workday HCM experience required, preferably with experience with Report Writer, HR Business Processes, and EIBs Bachelor’s Degree preferred General understanding of interfaces with 3rd party vendors Proficient understanding of system administration, HR processes Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills for providing knowledge to end users, management and other consultant Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to use the results of analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with high proficiency level in Excel Preferred : Workday certification in areas related to HCM, Security, Report Writer, or other similar areas Key Competencies: Builds strong relationships with peers and cross functionally with partners outside of team to enable higher performance Raises the bar and is never satisfied with the status quo Creates a learning environment, open to suggestions and experimentation for improvement Embraces the ideas of others, nurtures innovation and manages innovation to reality Understands and demonstrates importance of transparency and sharing of information Hiring Manager Q&A: What are the top 3-5 skills requirements should this person have? Existing knowledge and experience with Workday General knowledge of HR processes and programs Strong communication skills, both written and verbal at all levels of organization Advanced Excel skills. Pivot/macro abilities would be AWESOME 3 years’ experience with Workday and technical aspects of WD. They would understand WD configuration. They will not be configuring, but is important that they understand how WD is configured. There is a WD Certification. If they have this, it would be a big plus. What type of environment is this person working in? Combination of Group/Individual work? Combination. Lots of Autonomous work, but will also be pulled into projects associated with the integration of newly acquired company as their time permits. Work Schedule (Define days, of hours)/ Is Overtime offered or required? M-F 40 hours Is there flexibility in their daily schedule? Very flexible group. Available core hours of 9-3 for meetings as needed, outside of that flexible to put in time to complete the 40 hour week earlier or later in the day. Does this position offer the ability to work remotely on a regular basis or is it an on-site role? If remote opportunity exists, what are the options (i.e. 1 day remote, 4 days on-site)? Post COVID: Would prefer onsite in Lake County. If virtual candidate is selected this will not apply. If local to Lake County 50 % in the office would be the base expectation, and vary from there dependent on needs. When service centers can’t resolve issues then it goes to Paula’s team Not actual configuration but everything else. Support cases- troubleshooting, standard requests All remote due to Covid-19, ideally located in Lake County so they can come in once pandemic ends This role does not do configuration but needs to understand it. Just on business side, not IT side.
