Position: Board Relations Manager Department: Executive Office Role Overview: The Manager of Board Relations will provide key support to the Director of Board Relations to the ultimate goal of delivering a highly engaging experience for all members of the Lincoln Center Board. This role will provide support in the following key areas: administrative support, date tracking and record retention, meeting management, and Board engagement and communications (both at the individual Director level and the collective Board). What you’ll get to do here: Support the Director of Board Relations in coordination and execution of Full Board and Committee meetings which will take place as a hybrid in-person and remote set up Work with the Director you’ll help manage and steward the members of the Board and related committees Maintain Board and Committee meeting timelines including key preparation needs, ensure deadlines are met and new developments are tracked for future meetings and/or follow up Support the management of Board-related metrics (board and committee meeting attendance and participation, engagement metrics, etc.) Keep informed on current organizational priorities and progress as they relate to the Board and Committee goals and strategy Work with the Director and other stakeholders to explore new ways to engage Board members through programming, content, fundraising, and recruitment Help strategize and execute ongoing individual and collective Board member communications Draft briefings for meetings with Board members Research and maintain up to date demographic and other useful information on all current Board Members for outreach purposes Support execution of Board member onboarding and orientation plans Help maintain accurate and organized record keeping Professionally handle confidential information Act as liaison with other internal departments and stakeholders Assist Executive Office with occasional tasks and special projects as needed You’ll be a fit if you bring: At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in nonprofit development Prior experience and direct interaction with nonprofit or for-profit boards, donors, senior-level management The ability to exercise a high level of professionalism, judgment, adaptability, and resourcefulness. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Ability to maintain confidential information with discretion and integrity Meticulous attention to detail in all matters Ability multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines in fast-moving environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Research-savvy; internet and resource proficient Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience You’ll be a great fit if you bring: Enthusiasm for the performing arts Knowledge of and experience with nonprofit governance Please Note: All newly hired employees of Lincoln Center must have their final dose of an FDA-authorized or WHO-listed COVID-19 vaccine, and provide proof of such in order to begin employment at any time after September 17, 2021, unless a reasonable accommodation on the following limited bases is granted.
