The Systems Factory team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Production Test Technician 2 (2nd Shift) based out of Salt Lake City, UT. What You’ll get to Do: Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of production\O&R assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences. Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed. Use hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties. Perform routine operational tests and fault isolation on inertial systems to ensure conformance with design specifications. Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data of systems. Conduct defined engineering tests and collect data as assigned. Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Adhere to safety measures, quality directives, cost considerations and schedule commitments. Utilize SAP system for time recording, product tracking, discrepant hardware, work completion. MANUMS Basic Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel. Intermediate experience with electronics. Ability to support 2nd shift work schedule. US citizenship with eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance is required. Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree (AAS or AOS). Intermediate Understanding of inertial, measurement systems and electronics. Advanced experience with electronics. Current secret security clearance. Salary Range: 38831 - 64719 Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
