Eaton’s Electrical Power Distribution Controls Division is currently seeking a Paint Line Operator on Weekend Shift to join our team. This position is based at our Arden, NC location. Position OverviewThe primary function of the Paint Line Operator is to perform operator maintenance tasks and collaborate with paint line personnel to achieve daily goals. In this function you will: Perform initial set-up for machine operation Operate equipment/machinery to produce painted parts Maintain inventory of supplies necessary to perform daily operations of paint line Perform quality checks to ensure quality standards are met Perform necessary operator maintenance on fabrication equipment Provide on-the-job training as needed Perform TPM and 5S responsibilities daily Flex to perform other responsibilities as needed Qualifications Required Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D from an accredited institution Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Arden, NC facility will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in Fabrication Past experience with powder coat Position Criteria: Able to lift up to 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead Proven history of safe work habits Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision Must be able to work collaboratively with the team in a fast paced environment Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, machine-specific programs, etc. Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends Why work at Eaton?
